Named Dancers Trade

Example: Girls Trade in a line

Dancers take each other's places, ending facing the opposite wall.   To do this they turn to face each other, pass with right shoulder together, and continue turning in the same direction to stand in the footprints of the person with whom they traded.


Depending on the formation the active dancers may pass in front of or behind the inactive dancers. Always walk forward!



Example: Boys Trade

         (from 2 faced lines)

Groups of individuals may be specified for Trade

Here the boys (who happen to be ends, and could be specified as such) walk forward to take each other's places.
