Extend

In general, Extend consists of moving through a group of couples, one position at a time.

From a Quarter Tag position (a wave between 2 in-facing couples):

Those in the wave step through while the others step forward to join them in 2 ocean waves.

If the original wave is left-handed the resulting waves will also be left-handed.
