Spin Chain the Gears
 

 

 

   

From ocean waves:

   Ends and adjacent centers turn 1/2
   New centers meet and turn 3/4, forming a wave across the center.
   New very centers meet and turn 1/2 while the ends turn in to form stars
   The stars (gears) turn 3/4, forming a new wave across the center
   Very centers turn 1/2; ends of the central wave DON'T MOVE those not in
   the wave peel out to become the ends of new waves
   Finally, the very centers and adjacent dancer turn 3/4 to complete the waves.
