  SSD (Social Square Dance) Call List

SSD, as defined by CALLERLAB, was a limited list of calls and was a DESTINATION program. It was NOT intended to be a replacement for or a stepping stone to the previously defined BASIC, MAINSTREAM or PLUS (and other) programs.

The SSD program is scheduled to be retired in September of 2026.

The goal of Swinging 21ers, as a club, is to advance our new dancers to the PLUS program, as defined by CALLERLAB. Be aware: this involves a LOT of calls and takes a rather long series of lessons.

In contrast - and for your information - here is the 12 week lesson plan suggested for teaching the SSD program.
